Fifth Grade at The Searsmont School

I taught fifth grade at the Searsmont School for eight years and for all of those years Dick was a good friend. After school he would drop into my classroom and we would chat.... every day. He told me stories of the Korean War and we would talk about cutting wood. He was so easy to talk to and I always came away from our chats feeling good.

My condolances to Dick's family.
