The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Ames can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Richard was always very kind & showed he cared. He was not related to me, however his kindness always made me feel we could have been. So I have this thought as if I were one of the kids in the family:

I thought of you with care & love today as I do with all my special friends,
through out each day & Betty too.

God has you in His Keeping, I have you in my heart. Now you sit at the feet of Jesus in a wonderful place. You will be missed.
