Condolence From: Jim and Stephanie Turner
Condolence: Dear Jenna and family,
Our sincere condolences to you all for the loss of your father, partner or friend.
Leonard was a fierce, funny, kind and fair man.
In 1983 (?) Leonard and Sam hired me to serve drinks at the Waterfront. I was a single mom with two young boys needing that job. However, I had been fired from the previous restaurant! They weighed in on the circumstances of that firing , deciding to give me a chance. I was so grateful.
Two weeks later the fire broke out! Giving thanks to the fire department for saving the Waterfront...a big parade ensued. I rode on the truck with Leonard spraying water onto the spectators! Crazy fun.
Leonard was a true activist and big person. We will miss running into him in town for hello's and his great smile.
May your family, friends, those that knew and loved him so much, heal with your fine memories.

Condolence: After Leonard moved to Liberty, as distant cousins we reconnected. What fond memories. When ever we got together we shared family stories that now will likely be lost. From the Milesky side of Leonard's family, our deepest condolences. Bill & Pam Cohen (Brooklin)
