Condolences

Condolence From: Tomas Nicolin
Condolence: Dearest Family Soderberg, We were very sorry to hear that Nancy has passed away earlier this summer. But still my thoughts were immediately filled with all these wonderful memories of Nancy and your family. I met Nancy for the first time in the mid 1960’s at our summer house in Sweden. Later during my first visit to the US we met again when I was received in your family homes in Connecticut and on Nantucket, before Leif and I went to Camp O-AT-KA. Ingrid and I again visited Nantucket and met with Dick Sr on our honeymoon in 1977 and a few years later we participated in the memorial service at MIT at his death. During my studies at Sloan School Ingrid and I were twice very generously invited to spend Thanks Giving at Nantucket together with a large part of the family. This made a huge difference to our years in Cambridge. I was always treated as a family member by Nancy and Dick and Ingrid and I will always remember her warm love and consideration for our family. We send our deep condolences and warm thoughts to the entire Soderberg family. We share your grief. Tomas & Ingrid Nicolin

Condolence: Dear Soderberg family, I am sorry for your loss. When I read the obituary on Village Soup I was surprised to know that Nancy was here at Quarry Hill where I am living at the Gardens. I mentioned this to my name on High Street and she said your house is right behind ours. I see it from my bedroom window. Now for the even stranger coincidence! I grew up about a block away from your house on Keofforam Rd. In old Greenwich. I think my uncle Bill Carroll lived next door to you. I particularly remember Lisa and sailing at Rocky. I can't remember, but Lisa might have been my sister Alison's (Sunny's) age. Best wishes, Kit Parker
