Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harland Robinson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Dad

I really don't know what to say...I've started writing several times and end up deleting...I do want to say thank you to those of you who have shared your stories.  I've enjoyed reading them and learning more about my dad.  Jim, I didn't know about his being a finalist on Arthur Godfreys Talent Scouts.  I'll have to look into that further. Bob, I think I remember you!  I also think there's a picture of you feeding my dog Foofie some ice cream.  I don't know if I remember the chicken barns because of stories I heard or if I remember being there...I was young.  Mom and dad would tell me they stopped letting me play with the chicks because I would squeeze them too hard....is that right?

Dad was a person I would always turn too...if I needed help or just to talk.  When my daugher shut her finger in a locked car door....I called dad.  He drove us to the ER.  The time I cut my hand with a tin can...dad to the rescue.  He was at every basketball game, except those on the island.  He went to my brother's soccer games.  You could bet he was at our school's musicals and chorus concerts too.  He was a supportive father.  I think of him often and wish for more time.  Love you Dad.
