Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alan Carr can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Dwight Johnson
Condolence: There is a huge hole in my life now that Alan is gone. His lesson to me was to live in the present.
To Jane and their family: I hope his lesson helps you into the future without him.

Condolence: When we moved here, we had a yellow Lab, Dory, which we would walk early every morning in Merryspring Park (back when dog walking there was allowed). Alan walked his poodle at the same time so we began walking together, walking and talking. We had the most interesting conversations about everything. Alan was smart, curious, wry and eager to explore new ideas or connections between old ones. I loved those morning walks and talks, they taught me much and started the day off just right. I miss him already, he was a good friend and interesting man. Our condolences to Jane, Melissa (also a good friend) and other family members.

Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to Jane, Alan's children and grandchildren. I will treasure the memory of the ride Alan gave me in his '52 Mercedes-Benz after taking the Second Place ribbon at the car show in Camden at Lyman-Morse. Though I did not know him well, his zest for life was infectious, ever the gentle man. Gone too soon, rest in peace my friend...
