Obituary for Christina Kew

Christina Kew
NORTH HAVEN, MAINE...........................Christina passed at her family home on the island of North Haven, Maine on Saturday, July 29. 2017. Christina was born to Lucinda and Alan Kew in [Annapolis, Maryland] on August 5th, 1972. In 1977, Christina moved to San Francisco with her mother and step father, Alex Mehran. There Christina attended The Hamlin School and Branson where she excelled in English and literature while also developing a love of acting, painting and sculpture, three areas where she had unique talents that she pursued throughout her life. Christina graduated from UCLA in 1995 and established herself in Malibu, California. In Malibu she continued with her artwork while gaining traction in the movie industry including several feature film roles. She was a beloved member of the Malibu community and pursued her lifelong love of surfing there. An itch for world exploration brought her to Australia, Europe and the Caribbean in subsequent years. Everywhere she went she was able to use a knack for real estate and wonderful taste to create beautiful properties that were a great source of pride for her in addition to their financial successes. As a result of her travels she also added a global network of friends to her core group in the Bay Area and Malibu. She enjoyed her friends tremendously in recent years, spending time with them in Saint Tropez, Amsterdam, Saint Barthalemy, Munich and countless other places. Christina was a beautiful woman with an equally beautiful soul. Her mix of charm, intelligence, humor and loyalty were apparent the instant one met her. She will be missed by many and is survived by her mother, Lucinda Watson, her father Alan Kew, her stepfather Alex Mehran, her grandmother Maryann Mehran; sister, Anabel Mehran and brother, Alexander Mehran.
