Condolences

Condolence From: Mary Ellen Kelly
Condolence: I was very sad to learn of the passing of my first cousin David (his father and my mother were siblings) . Being almost the same age as his sister Amy, it is Amy that I have remained in annual Christmas card contact with. I remember David from childhood visits to my grandparents house in West Newbury. I have a few childhood pictures of him. I am an only child so first cousins are the closest blood relatives I have. The tribute I read was lovely. Hugs to all.

Condolence From: Susan Duff
Condolence: I had only known Dave for a short time. And yet, however, I realized early on that Kim and Dave were a perfect fit, a hand snuggled deep in a comfortable warm glove. So often Kim spoke about the gift of his love and the true gift of God sending him to her. So, with that said, I found a poem by Mary Oliver inside one of the drawers of my mother's jewelry box. I thought, how perfect... The Gift Be still, my soul, and steadfast. Earth and Heaven both are still watching though time is draining from the clock and your walk, that was confident and quick, has become slow. So, be slow if you must, but let the heart still play its true part. Love still as once you loved, deeply and without patience. Let God and the world know you are grateful. That the gift has been given. Kim, please know that I hold you in my heart and pray that answers will come. Remember, we just have to stand very still and the smallest of whispers can be heard. Much love and peace of the angels, Suzie Duff
