The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Theodore Clapp can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Tina Molt
Condolence: Hi....
Just a note to say what a wonderful guy Ted was. He was a mentor on playing tennis. He and his buddies had so much fun playing at the Y.....they were an inspiration! They had fun! You could hear them razzing each other and laughing at shots ....they would bellow!! What fun! It was just a riot to go to the Y to hear them and see them in action.....
We haven't had that much fun in a long time!!!
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time...
All the best.....
Tina Molt.....just a long time friend

Condolence: Dear Susan, Lisa and Lincoln,
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences at the passing of your dear father.
You may not remember me, but I was one of the German students your grandparents had invited to live with them for one year in 1948/49 in order to attend the Hamden Hall Country Day School. I was the only one who was alloed to graduate and thus did not have return to Germany having obtained an international scholarship from Principia College.
Your dad certainly was a positive and bright beacon of light through out his life time! Whenever he and your Mom visited us at the Taylors he always injected a much needed levity. My fond memories of him take me back to multiple occasions from sailing around Fishers Island Sound to shooting skeet behind your house in Goffstown. We had the pleasure of visiting your Dad and Mom (and the later his significant others) in Damarascotta and Alna a number of times. And I am most glad for our having visited him one last time at Quary Hill only two years ago when my wife and I were on our way to Deer Isle where our niece used to own the Pilgrims Inn. That day we had a most wonderful time with him at his favorite luncheon place in town.
We are also the proud owners of a copy of "Tell Me About The River." When we visited him in Alna my wife took a video of him as he expounded on writing and putting together this wonderful little book. If one or even all of you send me your email address we would be happy to send this video to you. It is absolutely the typical Ted!
Fondly, Wil Mehring
